Welcome writers, poets & playwrites

There are dozens of writers, poets and playwrights in the Chemainus Valley, and the CVCAS is reaching out, hoping to connect them with readers and audiences. We will be establishing circles, workshops and awards that will encourage writers and offer opportunities to collaborate and share. This page will be our portal connecting writers to readers and collaborators in the coming months >> Find out more

Valley Voices - Your stories and Poems in Valley Voice Magazine

Valley Voices is one element of the CVCAS Writers’ Forum, an initiative to provide opportunities and encourage writers at every stage of development to share their work with each other and the community.

Every month a new story or poem will be published from submitted and invited works, thanks to the generous support of Valley Voice Magazine, which has partnered with the CVCAS in this initiative.

Writers and poets published in Valley Voices will also benefit by having a professional video reading of their work recorded, and promoted on the CVCAS website and social media channels.
