Experience the raw fun and excitement of “the session” with the polish of two well-travelled masters of Irish traditional music and song Terry Boyle and Martin Nolan first played together in the thriving session scene in Dublin in the heady days of the Irish folk music revival of the 1970s. Since then their lives and musical paths have crossed on a few occasions but with never enough time to develop a show. Terry’s recent career change from teaching and Martin’s extended visits to Nanaimo have now made it possible for these musical friends to rekindle the flames that were first ignited back in Dublin many years ago. Join them for some toe-tapping tunes, songs and Irish good humour.
Terry and Martin are delighted to be joined on fiddle by Victoria’s own Ceilidh Briscoe, five-time North America fiddle champion and all Ireland fiddle champion. Ceilidh has toured China, Scandinavia and North America with world renowned “Riverdance”.
