David Vest is the real thing. A five-time Maple Blues Award winner, Vest has been called one of the greatest living boogie-woogie piano players, and his roots run deep. Who else has had his songs recorded by both Downchild and Tammy Wynette? Vest has performed onstage with Big Joe Turner, Bo Diddley, Hubert Sumlin and many other blues legends. His shows combine the live energy of early rock-and-roll with the deep blues of a Gulf Coast juke joint.
