The 4 members of the Copper Canyon Band initially got together at a local brew pub’s music night here in Chemainus, to play original songs written and composed by Doug. From those humble beginnings, The Copper Canyon Band was formed. Playing at small gatherings where ever we could, we started to expand our set list around our love and passion of old Country and early Rock N Roll music. It was a progression that would take the band to a whole new and exciting level. Our music of Old Country and early Rock N Roll spans many years and includes music from Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Dwight Yoakam, Roy Orbison, Elvis, George Strait, The Mavericks, to name just a few of the artists we pay tribute to. So if you enjoy listening and reminiscing to the music of yesteryear, we hope we will see you July 1st.
